Aden

I simply cannot put into words my feelings or express myself accurately about the events that unfolded as I wrote my last blog entry. Our dear son, cousin, nephew, brother, grandson, buddy, Aden, died suddenly on Sunday night. As this is such a shock to us all, I can honestly say that I have not yet come to terms with my great loss. My love for my sisters' children is as great as the love I feel for my own.

On Saturday, there will be a brief visitation at Collins, Clarke and MacGillivary Funeral Home at 307 Riverside in St. Lambert, from 2 pm to 5 pm.

On Monday, there will be a memorial service at the Centre Romeo-V. Patenaude at 135 Haendel in Candiac at 11 am.

Donations may be made to the Tyler Wallis Fund through the Montreal Children's Hospital. We request that no flowers be sent.

Thank you for all your prayers and support at this horrific time.

Glenna,Mike,Hailey and family,

This all is such sadness… I want you to know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers Day and Night. As a mother myself perhaps the reality of being a parent in such circumstances evokes feelings I only though possible in nightmares. Things are not suppose to be this way, though we know that we have no control over them.
We around you feel so powerless in the face of all of this, we certainly can not fully comprehend the depth of the sadness you are all experiencing. So hopefully we can try to ease the pain through friendship and compassion. I pray that you feel that you are loved and not alone to endure it. If only we could take a chunk of your sadness and carry it within us to lessen your burden.
I pray that your wounds heal and that your family draws closer at this time. I pray that the passing of time brings comfort and a returned joy for life.

With love and friendship
The Maighan family

We lost our first born when she was less than a month old. She died from a hospital infection. She suffered almost every day of her short life. We have since had two children, good times and bad times. Where we live they like to say: "Life gives you chances" I feel deeply saddened to hear the news of Aden's death after such heart wrenching struggle with Tyler. But I hope that life gives your family chances, and that you cherish the memories of Aden as you adapt to the world in which he once lived.

Dear Mike, Glenna, Hailey, and the complete extended family,

I have mourned with you all, provided support and tried to provide answers, that really do not come......Aden will always be alive in our hearts and our memories. Nobody can take the memories away.

Glenna, Mike and Hailey, you are all truly amazing. You are learning how to live with such a tragic lost and I am so very proud of all of you.

You know that I am here for you, anytime.....

Take good care of yourselves as that is what Aden would have wished.
